From many different denominations, we have different styles and emphasis, but share one thing in common, a passionate and active love for Jesus Christ, and for the people of Wandsworth and the world.
Working and praying together to see the love of Christ expressed in the Borough of Wandsworth, CCWC have enjoyed joining together to arrange community events, and often gather for ongoing collective meetings to pray and discuss the work of the Church in our community.

Why Do We Do What We Do?
For many years several Christian churches in central Wandsworth have been working together to bring a unified witness of Jesus Christ to the borough of Wandsworth. Although we differ in style and emphasis, we have chosen to focus not on our differences, but the fundamental truths that hold us together. Jesus Christ Himself is central to to the central churches of Wandsworth! His sacrifice for our sins, His resurrection from the dead, and His commission to go into all the world with the life transforming message of repentance and faith.
Making the Brighter borough even brighter!
Enjoying relationship together the churches have also joined together in community events including Bar-b-q’s giving free food and entertainment to the local community, creative outreaches and productions bringing the message of Christianity to Wandsworth in creative and relevant ways, engagement with the local council through civic services and Street Pastors, as well as praying regularly within the council itself together with other believers in civic positions. Together we have also ministered Christ’s love and message to local schools and colleges, and regularly joined together as part of the Wandsworth Prayer Net to pray for our community and its leaders. These are just some of the ways our spiritual connection together is finding a practical application in our brighter borough!
